The Dollar Is Winning Crypto’s Biggest Battle
Everyone Wants the Next 100x Coin. Almost Nobody Asks the Right Question.
Every crypto cycle creates the same conversation.
"What's the next 100x coin?"
It's one of the most searched questions in the industry.
And it's probably the wrong one.
The problem isn't wanting exceptional returns.
The problem is believing returns come before value.
The Market Doesn't Reward Hype Forever
A new token launches.
The community grows.
Prices rise.
Social media fills with screenshots of overnight gains.
For a while, it looks like everyone who bought early made the right decision.
Then reality arrives.
Many of those projects slowly disappear, not because people stopped talking about them, but because they never solved a meaningful problem.
Hype can attract attention.
Only value keeps it.
A Better Question to Ask
Instead of asking,
"Can this coin do 100x?"
Try asking,
"Why does this project deserve to exist?"
If you can't explain the problem a project is solving in a few simple sentences, it's worth asking whether you're investing in an idea or simply chasing momentum.
Price can tell you what people believe today.
Purpose tells you whether they'll still believe tomorrow.
The Projects That Last
Bitcoin wasn't created to become a speculative asset.
It introduced a new way to transfer value without relying on a central authority.
Ethereum wasn't built because people wanted another cryptocurrency.
It created a platform where developers could build decentralised applications.
Solana focused on making blockchain transactions faster and more affordable.
Each project started with a problem.
The price came later.
Not Every Good Project Will Make You Rich
Solving a real problem doesn't guarantee extraordinary returns.
Markets are unpredictable.
Competition is constant.
Technology changes.
But projects built on real utility often have something hype alone can't provide.
A reason to survive when excitement fades.
Investing Is Choosing a Future
Every investment is a belief about tomorrow.
You're not just buying a token.
You're buying into an idea.
A team.
A vision.
A solution.
The question isn't whether everyone is talking about it today.
It's whether people will still need it years from now.
The Bigger Lesson
The biggest opportunities rarely begin with people asking,
"How much money can this make me?"
They begin with someone asking,
"What problem does this solve?"
The investors who understand that difference may not always find the next 100x coin.
But they're far more likely to recognise why it deserves to exist in the first place.
