The biggest change coming to altcoins may not be a new token. It may be where you buy them. For years, buying altcoins meant opening a crypto exchange account and learning a market that operated separately from traditional investing. That gap is getting smaller. Major brokerages including Charles Schwab, E*TRADE and Interactive Brokers are expanding crypto access, bringing more digital assets closer to the platforms investors already use for stocks and ETFs.
